This was taken last week at Viera. I have wanted to see the baby grebes with their parents for the past six years and this was the first opportunity that I have had. Needless to say I was thrilled. The poor parents never seem to really have a moments rest and are excellent providers for their young. Hope you enjoy.

There's hope for spring yet Judy Lynn! We will not see grebe chicks here for another 4 months!

I really like the food begging action captured here and the layout is great. I would rotate CCW based on what the water looks like. And maybe a bit off the bottom too?

Love it Judy you know you can't do anything wrong as far as I'm concerned. I do agree with John about the layout and the begging action of the baby really nice but do not know about the ccw rotation, it looks pretty good to me, nice job and see you soon.

Me neither Bill. There could be an optical illusion going on here. The pool of ripples around the chick is more level than than the rest of the water, to my eye anyway What's that all about?

excellent image!! the level looks great to me, you cannot go by the riples, but more by the reflection, and if the reflected image is straight down, then, imo, it is correct. Well done Judy.

Great momento captured! Lovely light and colors and detail, I would only try to save those hot whites! Congratulations Judy!
