    The green Jay is quite common in south Texas.

    Great pose, details and light. The worm adds to it. I might decrease the contrast a bit and add some room at the bottom if you have as it is a bit tight in the frame. I can see a slight sharpening halo. Keep them coming.

    Love the pose and light. However I find the image too tight!

    Its a fine image. But I agree its VERY tight.

    I hope to be seeing these guys in about 3 weeks :)

    I agree that it is tight, but that is the way I cropped it in order to completely fill the space with the subject. This image has done quite well for me - Color print of the year/Honorable Mention in my local camera club; Nature print of the year/2nd place at Gulf States Camera Council, and 3rd place in last September's PSA Council Challenge. Had I allowed a little more "breathing space", it might have done better.

    Fantastic image. Great pose. Colors are very good. Detail is excellent.
