You really stopped the action here Rick. I love the incoming pose as well as the outstreched wings and dangling legs. I think that this image would look better with some more contrast and a little saturation. Giving this photo a small S curve would accomplish both. Well done, I like this one.

I like the pose and soft light. A slight boost in contrast and saturation might make it even better and I might crop a bit off the bottom and add some space at the left and sharpen the bird more.

Nice flight image Rick! The S curve should make this pop out a bit more and an extra round of sharpening would bring out some details that I think are there...just hidden. I assume this is another from Eco Pond early or late in the day. Nice work!

Hi Rick, I really like the image that you created here. Good job capturing the action. There are few things that I feel could improve this image (as shown in my repost above). A more convention 3:2 frame size adds impact and gives a greater sense of destination for your subject (cropping a little off the top and bottom). The whole image could stand to be lightened. Looking at the histogram, you had some room to the right to work with. I created a levels and curves adjustment layer to tweak the image. I also ran two passes of Smart Sharpen, 40% at 0.4...
