Hi Nonda - Love the interaction - warts already mentioned. Looks a little over sharpened on my screen - coul dalso use some NR on the background - quite a bit of visible noise. (May just be from the sharpening - looks like the whole image was sharpened and not just the squirrells)

Looking forward to more :) ;)

This is an old one Lance, real old, don't even know if the RAW file is still around or if it was a raw image. Swiped it off my website:) Also fiddled a bit with it..Not a good thing for a JPG

So here it is just re-sized not as wangy

Love the image too. Hard to work on jpegs Nonda, repost is VG. Wondering if it would look better if you cut, not clipped the tails as Artie would say. But the IQ would suffer since this is only a jpeg.

Thanks Jackie..Yes just re-sized the 2nd one. I think I'm going to dig up the RAW file to this, if there is a RAW, and if I didn't do something stupid to it like I was prone to do back then.

This is one cute image !!!! Love the interaction and feel

Not sure what to do about the tail? I understand and agree on cutting rather than clipping but in this instance might take away part of the feel? Image is so strong as presented I can get by as presented. Just a personal preference. Sure hope you can find the raw image .... if you can't find I know how it feels since I have lost some of my favorites !!!!

    Hi Nonda,
I agree with your self assessment in reference to the tail...but the captured moment makes up for it...I like it as presented...good show...

Love it, Nonda! Since the tails are already nipped off, maybe a tighter crop? My jury of one is still out on this, but I would in any case darken the background some and brighten up the subjects.

David..I think I like that crop idea! Now how did you darken the BG w/o loosing fur fuzzies?

    Thanks Denise!

Sometimes just using a softened brush on the mask will do it. In this case, since there were so few fuzzies, I went around the edge with a small brush and stroked them in. (Easy with a pen/tablet; wouldn't want to do it with a mouse.)

Then you can invert that mask to work on the squirrels.

    Curves adjustment for background:

Love the capture and the inter action Nonda. Just in time for Valentine's day. Agree with Lance, does look a little bit over sharpened.
