A fly-by, shot handheld and a do-nothing background. Does this work?

Hi Mark - I like the underwing detail - your exposure is pretty good, maybe some blocked blacks but not too bad. A bit of S/H will open them up a little. Not sure about the crop - hmm let me think on that one :)

Mark, nice shot with good points taken by Mr. Peters. I do feel that the crop is a bit spacious. I took equal small amounts from the RHS and top, and a bit more from the LHS. I am typically stingy with my crops, but I feel that this shows the bird a bit more prominently. What do you think?

Love the bg Mark !!!! Woiuld only like to seem the duck moved up the frame to have a little more room at the bottom !!! Excellent flight image !!!

Very nice BIF image! Exposure looks good and the plain BG sets it off nicely. Kerry's repost looks good to me, might prefer the duck a little higher in the frame though.

    Hi Mark,
I like the capture. agree on the position of your Mallard in frame...would suggest adding more room on the bottom...

Nice pose, detail and vibrant colors and agree with more room on the bottom.
