    “Banking Right”

This fellow was flying overhead making several passes when he finally decided to bank my way. He is one of the locals at Shark Valley National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D70s using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, and a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 630mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 400 /1/2000sec - f/5.6 / exposure comp @ -0.7EV / white balance @ auto / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degree / no speedlight – ambient light / no tripod - hand held /

    Comments greatly appreciated…

Like the angle of flight and the wing position. Don't know if it's my monitor Gus, but it seems to have a lot of noise, or over sharpened?? Just guessing.

Gus, The composition is very nice, like the wing span and the BG colors are unique!

Hi Gus - Composition is excellent and love that BG. I am with OZ on my screen looks funky like low res or oversharpened.

Great photo! How do you get such beautiful backgrounds?! I agree that it looks a little oversharpened.

Beautiful wing span Gus, Does look a little oversharpened. The BG is beautiful, I think you are a painter at heart.
