    I was standing at my office's parking lot this morning waiting for the chance to photography the president's plane coming in to Fort Myers today. I was a little surprised by how low it flew over the building. The EXIF data on my Breeze Browser estimate a distance of 655m.

    ......... I'm glad you didn't point a 500 at the plain :) That is one sweet ride !!!

    Alfred, I had the 600 mounted on my tripod, when i saw how close the plane was, i quickly changed to the 100-400 and took the picture.

    Very cool! I always love seeing the 747's come in for a landing. They're sooo big. I do think it's time for Washington to give Air Force one a facelift. Get with the times, if you will. I'm thinking a heavily modified A-380, although some might consider flying a French machine blatantly unamerican...but c'mon man, they're just so gigantic and amazing:

    That plane is so full of technology!! I'm with Philip. Something like a hooked up Concord will do!! :)

    How cool is that? I bet not many people have an image of AF 1 at that angle!
