    From down here in sunny,warm Florida. Taken at the Venice Rookery. Mornings are a touch cool but warming up when the sun comes up. Some action at the Rookery but still a bit early.

    You pressed the shutter at just the right moment.:D I love the outrstretched wings and trailing feet. That tuft of feathers waving on his head is a real plus. There is a blurry section in the berries almost right below the very tip of his beak. Is it the due to cloning?

    Really nice work, Joe. You did a fine job capturing the action. I also like the composition of the image. A couple things that could strengthen this image (one which may involve heading out in the field again) is better light. The light is about spent in this image and robs you of the beautiful colors we know this area is capable of providing. Also, like Joel mentioned, there is evidence of some cloning at the lower-right intersecting third point. I'm hoping to head up there this season, Joe! I'll let you know ;)
