Beautiful saturation of colours here John and nice habitat. The bird is a bit tight to the right and on top. Did you use flash as the light is quite harsh?
Thank you for the honest comments. Here to learn. It is cropped a little tight, my tendancy and trying to get all of the tail. The light is just a hot 10 am florida sun. Very clear skys last week and several shots look like flash was used but it was never out of the bag.
I think that John is talking about fill flash here. It is often used to open up shadows in harsh lighting conditions. You have a great pose here with very good environment. The feather detail is good and the colors just pop. I might try to ltn the eye up a little in PS. Overall, well done.
