    This was taken at La Jolla this morning.

    Canon 1dmkIII 500mm f4, Tripod, Manual exposure 1/2500 @ f5.6 Iso 400.

    I like this, James, lovely colours and focus, the little pool and reflection are great as is the blurred sand in the background. A fractionally higher viewpoint may have achieved the darker tone for a background to the white head which would have made it stand out more. I am seeing a very obvious sharpening halo but otherwise I really like this.

    Great angle, light and mood. I might crop a bit off the top and left, sharpening halo has been mentioned.
