    Default Lapland Longspur

I tried to make an image of this species that shows the long hind toes well. This is why I didn't go for a very low angle. I also liked the lowered wings.

I like longspurs and the warmth of this is nice it might need a round of sharpening to bring a little more detail out

Like that you included the claws here. Great pose and light. I have really enjoyed this series of snowbirds. Do you have any seed out to bring them in?

Thanks, Dan! Someone put some seeds out but that only worked as long as the ground was covered with snow and ice. They also seem to like street salt.

Great shot of the hind toes and love the crop and eye contact, nice to see on the snow too, not sure about the lighting though.
