I really like the detail/clarity and color of this one. The tail and four raised hooves are a nice touch. Would've really liked a slight head turn towards you, putting the sliver of light on the face shadow directly over the eye. But then I'd also like to have a picture of a bigfoot and yeti arm wrestling in an open meadow during a nice golden sunset. Really nice image.
Marc,
In commenting on another Wildebeest photo yesterday I said that they were a very difficult subject, I think you have nearly proved me wrong. This is a good Widebeest subject as it is so much lighter in skin colour than the other species. It is a pity aboout the shadow on the face, but you can see the eye. As Steve said a really nice image
Marc,
Cool dueling image. An image 1 sec before of the galloping one above would have been ideal. Same problems with birds. :)
Marc,
That is another good image, timing is everything.
Marc,
The hind part and the tail attract all the attention in the image no. 1. Unfortunately, the head is in the shadow. I agree that clicking a fraction of a second before that image would have been good. Nice colour.

Great action captured here.
Love those warm colors and textures. Very nice job.
