Hi Nonda,
I like the composition showing the habitat...I also like the bird looking into his environment...He looks a little on the soft side; might want to selective sharpen him and also would like to see the habitat a little more saturated...but thats my personal taste...I like the feel...good show...
Agree Gus..Not sure if bird will take too much more on the sharpen but will see...Rather large crop:D
Here ya go Gus more sharpen and more sat..THis probably should have hit the trash

Interesting composition and effective Do like the overall feel
Would like some separation between the oof foreground and bg elements. I find these type more difficult than conventional but so rewarding when they work !! I like it a lot !!
Nonda, I love the soft colors has a really nice feel to it.
Lovely compostion Nonda, and dreamy! I like how the wings stand out from the rest of the colors. Might have gone a little more aggessive with NR in the bg or maybe a bit of blur.
I like it Nonda...:):D:)
Excellent, Nonda! "Dreaming" is just the right title for this one. I think it would have a more "dreamy" feel if the image faded and brightened on the right (curves adj. layer), so that all details are on the subject side. And I "cheat sharpened" the dreamer just a bit.

Great feel to this capture Nonda. Love the soft colors and composition.
I like the one with the eye sharper. It looks strange to have the wings and the tail sharper than the eye. Like the soft color though.
Love the soft dreamy feel and colours :)
nice compo! and feel! now all it needs is the poem to go along with the title in the area right of the bird.
Well I'll be, thanks...
David, explain 'cheat sharpen' please. Looking at the bird I think I might know what you did, really like it.
Thanks David..Learned something new
Like the original softness of the bird Nonda, with the branches on the right blurred. You could also try surface blur??? Love the pastels.
