my first photoshopped image! i cloned an oof twig out from behind it's tail. how'd i do!!?

other than that, set black and white points, sharpened bird, ran noise reduction on the bg, all in CNX2, then the PS stuff with the clone stamp. NO CROP!!! FULL FRAME!! points taken off for head angle i'm sure, can i get the points back because it's FF?:o

    D300, BIGMA at 270mm, f/6, 1/320s, 0EV, ISO 640, flash fill at -1.7EV.

    thanks for looking. comments appreciated.

    Hi Doctor,
I like the composition and capture...your bird has sharp details, with a good head angle and good color rendition...also he's placed just right in frame...my only suggestion would be to desaturate the yellow green oof leaves in the background; the are taking the attention away from your subject...my eye keeps going there...just tone them down, and you should be fine...:) I like it...

    Harold,

Very nice cloning work. A little patience and practice and PS can never cease to amaze. Looks like you're taming PS very well. For me, learning keyboard shortcuts like Command Z (Undo on a Mac) and others have been invaluable in speeding up the whole process. Good job.
