    Hi Ovidiu,
A big welcome to the BPN family...:)
I like your composition, image and capture...you display sharp details with very good color rendition on your subject. I like the square up front head angle and the sharp eye contact...the diagonal spruce pine perch is a very nice touch to the composition...my suggestion would be to lighten up the area around the eyes just a little bit so they can show better...well done for your first post...congratulations...looking forward to your next capture...

welcome to BPN!! and awesome first post!! agree with gus about opening up the shadows around the eyes. looking at your exif data, i might suggest for shots like this to open your aperture wide open. will help you get more shutter speed and a nicely blurred bg. also, a little flash fill would help open up those shadows too.

    keep them coming!!!

Welcome to BPN! Excellent first post! I love the lighting and frontal pose. The frosty branches are a nice touch. Agree that lightening the face a tad particularly on the shadowed side would make it even better.

Good job! Hope to see a lot more!

    Big Warm Welcome Ovidu !!!

Great suggestions I like how you framed the image, might have tried the little guy more to the corner. Efficient use of the slanted perch and like the bg !!! Looking forward to more !!!
