This day it was 10 degrees outside, without counting the wind-chill factor. She was not close, so even at 500mm I had to crop.

I would appreciate any comments you have on this image.

Absolutely first-rate! I love it! (I have to ask: Did you add the snow fog at bottom, or was that already there? Either way, A+).

    thanks!

no snow fog. I was laying low, down below some snow which was close to the camera. I did want the OOF snow, and tried to frame it that way to see how it would turn out. I was lucky on this shot, I also got an ERROR 99 on this and lost the bottom 1/4 of the image, but at least that part was not necessary for the photo.

hi cheryl - congrats - like this a lot, sounds like everything went in your favour :)

I would try to lighten and sharpen the eye just a tad - also even though personally I am not a fan of this - I would probably put a thin black border all around the image - will just tie it together.

    well done :)

    Hi Cheryl,
Beautiful image, i am not one that likes to see the feet all the time, i like the dreamy feeling of images with the OOF FG.

    congratulations,
    Adams
