    Default Flare with Flair

Yet another Bald Eagle from Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia. I was quite surprised by the big turnout of people but everyone was well behaved and the Eagles didn't disappoint.

I like the incoming pose, details and exposure control and might blur the BG a bit more.

Great one! Love the pose, exposure control, detail and light, the BG looks very nice IMO although some NR on it could help. Congratulations!

Nice one Oliver. Wings perfectly captured as the bird is coming in. With the 600 x 1.4 you were working on birds farther away than we were (with 500 x 1.4) and closer to the trees so they are a little more in focus. I don't find the BG too distracting.

I totally agree with Axel on this one, specially regarding to the BG. A touch of noise reduction or a litle round of gaussian blur would improve the result. The bird´s pose and light is fantastic!
