    This is a different view of the duck I posted earlier. Sharpened the eye this time and made a minor crop for composition, otherwise this is right out of the camera. I thought it would make a nice cover for a book. Hmmm... ;)

    50D, EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS + 1.4x @ 200mm
    Aperture priority, f/5.6@1/1600, partial metering EC -2/3 ISO 200
    AI Servo autofocus using back button, HH no flash

    Kerry, that is some sweet light again. I really like images like this where we can see the light source on the object of interest. I do think if it were mine I'd consider cloning out the very outer pieces of the duck's reflection - the bottom two pieces of the head and the small pieces of the tail that are not really connected to anything. It's purely a personal decision but those extras pieces are more of a distraction than an addition because the rest of the reflection has all the necessary components.

    Excellent! It's those little things that can make or break an image. You did a great job of cleaning up what didn't need to be there.
