    Taken in 2006 at Spitsbergen. Cloned out the fash catchlight and enhanced the natural one.

    Love this shot Krijn! Excellent job on the exposure, theres good detail in the blacks and whites. Pose, BG, perch all great but the 'weather' really puts it over the top for me.

    That is some original photo for this species! I agree the rain adds alot to the mood, very good. I know you were probably wanted to keep the 3:2 ratio, but I think something closer to square would work very well here. Nice perch and BG too.

    I like the pose, angle, BG and exposure control. I might slightly raise the color temperature and could also see it as vertical crop.

    Great active pose from this unusual little bird - this is the best image I have seen of this species. Other positive comments have been mentioned above.
