I've only had a couple of trips down to Arizona, and have tried this kind of shot before, but never had this sky.

Your right Terry, the sky and clouds make the image here. Great perspective and I like the positioning you chose for the Saguaro and its arms.

Great pocture Terry. I love the sky/Cactus combination. Youc could try to increase saturation in the green channel and make the Cactus pop out a little more.

    Hey Terry,
Sweet clouds! I'm with Rene on adding a bit to the greens........that will just make the color pop! The central comp works here because of the arms out and the clouds. very nicely done on getting low and capturing the "spirit" of the SW and of the cactus.

I really love the point of view that you chose...wonderful and suits the shape of this cactus very well. The clouds are really nice as well. Very nice work!

I also find this composition very interesting. I only wish for a darker sky, just a bit. I would also feel tempted to saturate the cactus a bit. Overall a really good picture.
