Ken, Nice composition with the hyena to the far left and I like the reflection. I would crop the top edge slightly to eliminate the dark patches. The body looks slightly soft on my monitor. Wish my camera body could handle that ISO without noise. - John

    Ken,
Good composition. The ripples have started forming in the water, as the hyena has just entered. That causes a slightly blurred reflection. I don't mind cropping a little bit from the top to eliminate the dark areas.

    Cheers,

Thanks for your comments, I always need assistance on cropping. I could also do with a foolproof way of retaining some of the sharpness of the TIFF when I convert it.

Nice one, Ken! I'm seeing a red cast. The tipoff is in the water, which is reflecting the overcast sky -- presumably closer to a neutral gray. (I might have greened up the grass a bit too much, though.)

Crop looks good Ken (maybe remove the dark spot up top and from lower left in water). Nice pose and sharpness. I like the water in David's repost but prefer the grass and hynea closer to your's. Was it overcast at the time?

    Steve,

Yes it was overcast. I lightened it up a bit but too much looked slightly too false.
