Shot this today. Did a tight crop, but no photoshop editing. Just putting it up for comments.

What body were you using? It does have it's artistic merit. I find the left upper corner a bit bright, I would have cloned out the dark bg in the extreme upper right corner and find the shadow in the upper right corner a bit distracting. Colours and different textures are nice.

Nice COMP and sharp. The reds look a little over-SATed and it could stand a bit more off the top to eliminate the tiny black triangle in the URC.

Thank you sir for your mmembership support.

Thank you Art, and Artie, I appreciate you comments and honesty. Art, I use a Canon 1D MIIN & MII. In this shot I used the MIIN.
You can only imagine if I knew enough about photoshop, what I can do to improve this shot. I know enough about PS to be harmful to my shots.

Again thank you for taking the time out to give me your comments.
    Respectfully
    Norm

Yes, as posted a crop to just under the brighter triangle in URC you be good. The basics of PS (contrast, saturation, levels, etc...) are easy to learn and well worth it.

This is good news indeed...I'm planning on spending my last morning in FLA at Desoto :-)

Hi Norman, Very nice photo. I am not sure what your comfort level is with PS, but my recommendation is to check out the Educational Resources threads in the Eager to Learn part of this website. There are lots of references to good and not expensive books and cd's available from this and other websites that are available and provide a very good way to get up and running quickly with techniques that work in PS. Good Luck and looking forward to more tight crops. Dave
