You're batting a thousand on these critters, Nonda. I wonder if this is the same momma who was flopped on the yard bench, wearied by her little "heathens." (No, I see now that it isn't. The other didn't have gray paws.)

Good catch David on the paws, it is a different squirrel

Denise they like the food, the humans are just tolerated.

Another great squirrel pose, I love how his body is sagging! Would run some noise reduction on the BG.

while there are some aspects to this image which bother you, the pose more than makes up for it. Here is another image that shows that you certainly are spending a lot of time out there working those skills you have honed. Those backlit whiskers are another great touch. great photo for early spring month in your squirrel calendar.... :)

    Thanks folks..

While she looks like she is posing they never stay posed long, as in don't blink:-)

Cheryl, cut my photographic teeth on sqs, didn't have to travel far (just to the back yard). Learned to be quick and loads about exposure..Good teachers be squirrels;)

Squirrels have their qualities, don't they... lol
And you (a good photographer) make a difficult image look easy. Many viewers (esp non-photographers) do not realize the work behind an image.
