    Hi Jeff, Cool bird, I like the BG. Good work! the sharpness is great as does the exp. Improvements IMO would be - the head turn could be a little better, cocked down a little (he was a trained bird right:D). I am distracted by the right side of the perch, the crack and the knot in that area really draws my eye. these elements could easily be removed though.

    I love this bird. I've tried to get images of it as they migrate through (Calif) but have had little luck: they tend to be nomadic, not predictable. Great image. Resolution and clarity is good. Head position does not bother much. I would agree with Dan's comment about the crack, remove it. The knot, however, I would leave it. The small twig at bottom, touching the frame I'd deffinitly take out. Good shot. Like it. ;-)

    Agree about the perch, it really is distracting.
