Caught this ground squirrel feeding on grass stems and plants on a bluff above the ocean at McKerricher State Park in Northern California. Lighting conditions were a little too sunny

Does look like the light was harsh and that little critter is saying ... are you doing a portrait of me now :)

Love the facial expression. As presented would crop form the top and add to the right and bottom if you have it. Would reduce saturation on the blue just a bit and sharpen the face a bit. (did all in re post ) Still like the extra room up front I like it !!!

Nice job Alfred. I really like the pano crop. I don't quite what to do with the sharpening. I though i had it down this time. As soon as it was posted I could see it wasn't sharp enough. It's like it magically softens as soon as post it! I'll keep at it.

    God bless all,

    chris

Chris I did the sharpening with PhotoKit Sharpener Might want to check it out ... you can do selective sharpening to the full tiff file but the final is done at the posting resolution !!

If you don't use the program just sharpen a layer then brush the effect to the area you want. By sharpening the head area only you can get away with a little more, going after the entire image will look over sharpened !!!
