Recently returned from a quick trip to India. This Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias thalassina) is from Pench National Park, Madhya Pradesh-India.

I had always been wishing to click this species for last couple of years but didn't get a good chance to do so.

This time captured this blue beauty near the resort that I was staying in.

What a beauty. I like the pose, and the vertical comp is perfect for the shape/pose of this bird. I might take a small bit off the left and add a bit above...but the center-ish comp still looks ok. I find the border distracting though.

Agree with Daniel this is beautiful! The colours are perfect and I love soft lighting like this. For me a little more room at top and to right would be useful.

Would love to see a bigger version!

Beautiful bird, I don't think I've seen this species before. I like the pose, eye contact and BG and agree with Daniel's crop suggestion. The plumage looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor. Is this a heavy crop? Keep them coming!
