Head on look, diagonal in the frame with the torso entering at a corner - great framing this handsome cat.

    Ken,
I like the composition and sharpness. Depth of field is good. The shadow nearly covers the eyes. It would have been bothersome if the eyes were half covered by shadows. I like this image. These days, I see more of hand held images from you, and all of those are sharp. Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers,

Great portrait of this cool cat... I like the head-on stare, and the gapped mouth showing the teeth slightly is nice in my opinion. Nice work.

I like the crop and details in this image. Love the stare and open mouth. Beautiful animal, I really envy you. It must be quite an experience to see these guys.

Thanks for all of your comments, Cheetahs are really beautiful animals, and have been very lucky in seeing two glorious 3 Male coalitions as well as many others. I take nearly all of my photos hand held (I just forget to say so)as I just find it very difficult to use a monopod in a safari vehicle. When I self drive I use a bean bag.

Lovely portrait, Ken! The light, detail and composition are right on for this very handsome cat. I like the effect of the half shadowed eyes, and always appreciate getting the texture of a coat in an image. Well done.

Love the comp and detail, great light and colors, although the body borders look strange... did you clone out something from behinf the cat?

Nicely framed Ken. The ever so slight body angle and off center gaze work well together in this nicely detailed image.
