    Hi Dave.

An appealing image. I like the diagonal of the log plus its detail. The squirrels are posed well with good head angles and the paw of the back one on the others shoulder is a nice touch. Only way for that to be better would be the rear one having the face up higher and not behind the others ear.

The BG is noisy. Actually I see noise in the log and critters but that is much less noticeable. I reposted where I did a Gaussian blur at 1 pixel on a BG copy and then created a mask on that layer and painted black over the log and squirrels.

I also decided to crop it as the log is a bit overpowering to smaller squirrels.

Darling image and the composition is great. Love the poses and wonderful eye contact. Your timing could not have been better Dave. Many thanks for sharing.

Good timing and a neat image. Robert's critique hit my comments as well.

Love it! You surely captured the moment. My repost is just a suggestion for cropping and perhaps dimming the background as if it were in shade (curves adjustment layer) to pop out Frick and Frack a little more.
