    Default Rough-legged Hawk

This is one from this morning. I finally found a cooperative rough-legged hawk in a local field that was eating one rodent after another.

Stunnig pose, colors and detail, great blue BG and comp. You might try to tone down the whites from the tail. Big congratulations Axel, stunning shot!

Excellent in your face flight shot! I like the comp. As Ramon suggested-the white on the tail looks a little hot. Nice work.

Thanks for the suggestions, I applied curves and the whites should look better now.

Really nice capture. I like the diagonal position of the subject in the image it adds impact. The eye is very sharp and the wing position adds to the image,

Axel, stunning flight shot. The placement in the frame / comp works really well. Repost looks a lot better on the whites but seems a little flat. Maybe a bit more contrast might help. Beautiful picture overall.

Thanks, Philip. I uploaded the wrong file, the contrast should look good now.
