Taken at Fort Desoto a week ago. The terns were quite active and a joy to photograph . It was early morning and the light was just beginning to show itself.

Judy, I think I can tell your pics even without your name on them. Great pose, great catch light, beautiful colors.

It looks like the tern is looking right at you.

Great pose and details, Judy. I might crop it a bit tighter and it could go a bit brighter for my taste.

What a beauty Judy. Love the eyes, sharp orange beak and pointed wing tips and extended tail. Shadows are well maintained and not too much a bother.

Amazing sharpness and detail on this image. I would compose it a bit tighter (especially cut from the top).

Great work managing the whites. I love the background color and the catchlight. My druthers would also be to crop tighter, but....

    Hi Judy,
Nice color balance and light on this capture. As far as cropping, I personally like to leave some room around the subject - especially if the image is later intended to be printed. Some extra space allows for matting/framing considerations.

I think this is a lovely image, Judy. And, frankly, I like the "air" around it!
