The Mating Ritual (pics added)
I always find the mating rituals of the local birds very interesting. This pair of GBHs were captured performing one of their mating rituals at the Venice rookery. Here the male has presented the female with a "gift". The "BRINGING OF THE GIFTS" is a wonderful behaviore to witness. This female is a bit confused though. She doesn't know if she should feed the fish or eat them.

... btw those birds are sharp ... both Mac users and I know what are they doing ... looking up the goldfish eating back in the sixties and giving it a try !! ... and two at a time might I add !!! :)
