    The exposure looks pretty good and like the colors in the water. These guys are tough to get close to around here. It does need some ccw rotation so that the reflection of the eye lines up with the actual eye. I might remove the gold line above the head. It would also be nice to get down closer to water level if possible.

    I agree that the stick above the head is a bit of a distraction. I love the silvery reflection/color of the BG and think it would be incredible if it were calm.

    Hey Dan, really nice image and that reflection is fantastic. I agree though that the stick in the water is a bit distracting, and on the monitor I'm using at the moment the whites on the wing look a tad hot (could be this cruddy monitor though). I also think the head could use a bit more sharpening. Keep them coming.
