Back from April 2007 at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. I have the wrong copyright date on it - must have processed it in 2008.

Besides the birds you can get some nice gator images too.

Nice to see you posting Robert :). I like the patterns and color of the water. It has a soft, polished metal look to it. I keep wanting to take a little off the top for more of a pano look but I think its a phase I'm going through with elongated subjects like this. I also think its interesting how the reflection almost looks like an inverted reversal of the gator's head.

I happen to like this better cropped as a pano. There is alot of bright reflection in the water and cropping part of it out helps draw your eye towards the center of interest.

Great looking image Robert... that peering eye with it's reflection draw you in over that great water surface. I ditto the idea of cropping slightly from the top. Great stuff!

Another vote for the pano crop. Good eye contact and the water reflections look absolutely suberb, Robert!

    Robert,
I don't fully agree with Pano. I would remove just the top reflection, and retain the rest. It makes the scene interesting.

An interesting 4-eyed gator, Robert. I like all the color tones around the head and the diagonal comp. Another vote for more of a pano crop.
