Continuing with the duck theme here is a shot that I took a month ago.
American Wigeons are here in higher numbers giving me more oppt.
the only problem with birds in flight you don't have a wide sweet spot
in order to get them just perfectly I was happy with this one
because I was able to get the iridescence feathers to light up.
A real winner. Even though the near wing may not be all the way up, I like how you can see the rear wing's color and texture. BG complements him well too. I like the singular water drop at the rear.
Very nice James. I always have a hard time with the getting the greens to look this good on these guys. I would prefer the wings up but not a big deal on this one.
One of my favorite ducks and you nailed it, James. Your photo site is turning into a gold mine. Sharp with very nice light and colors. I like all the visible water droplets on the belly.
