awesome!! love the perch and the bg is great!! might back down the saturation on the yellows?
Hi Gerard,
I like the composition and capture...the bird is placed just right in frame, with a good head angle and sharp eye contact...I like the dark green background which compliments the subject very nicely...a few points to consider...The yellows and the orange bill are too saturated...you need to tone them down also you have a few areas in the blacks that are lacking in details, would adjust those too...aside from these minor adjustments, you did very well...looking forward to your next one...
What a cool bird, love the pose and the BG, really nice image
Everything covered on the tech side
Good photo of a very striking bird! The composition and HA look good.
Agree on the saturation.
Very nice shot. I'd love to see a beautiful bird like that around my yard. Not sure if those are faint sun spots in BG? They could be cloned out in PS.
I look forward to seeing more of your amazing birds!!! Keep 'em coming.
I like the lookback and striking bg !!! Beautiful bird !!!
Love the over the shoulder look and the BG is great.
Quick and dirty changes - adjusted yellows - adjusted blacks.
any better??
keep em coming :)
