how did they catch in a piece of glass?

A good friend brought this back from the Waterford Crystal factory in Ireland, was not sold in the US, glass is actually clear.
My one attempt at inside 'artsie' photography/lighting.

David I can't remember how I got the light, I don't have anything professional. I do remember I had the strange box thing going that I draped a piece of midnight blue/black velvet over as the back drop. One of my rare moments of creativity I'm afraid, so I just futzed around till I got what I wanted.

Neat Nonda, my only suggestion might be to have it smaller in the frame with more black BG. Verse is kind of cool too!
