    Default Eagle Approach...

Here is a capture of a younger bald eagle out at Farmington Bay here in northern Utah from last weekend. I always like 'top wing' shots, and was happy to make this image. I'm continuing to find the 40D does very well tracking larger subjects like this incredible bird.

The grass really adds to this shot.

I found that my eyes were quickly drawn to the bright white rocks immediately below the bird. I would suggest darkening these. Otherwise, top shot.

Lovely sharp image. I love the detail in the tail feathers. The skyline is a bit distracting, otherwise very nice image. Something to have on the wall.

    Best regards
    Christy
