I think I have the whites white and no color cast. 50D, 400/5.6 at 5.6, fill flash, 1/250, EC+1 2/3, ISO400. Some cropping to get a littel tighter.

I checked your cast by the blur average method and there's only a very slight deviation on the gray. Beautiful pose with excellent detail in the feathers. Tot of the head whites could go a tad darker. Very lovely, Dave good job.

Agreed with Fabs - nice details in the feathers. The pupil is red - you should change it to black and see how much more impact this will give your image. There is also a sharpening halo on either side of the body and under the bill.

Love the sharpness with the over-the-shoulder pose. The seaweed (???) on the perch is pretty cool too. Axel must be teaching Daniel to see those halos....

Thanks for comments everyone. Man alive you've got good eyes Daniel. I had not realized the pupil was red, only that it had not responded very well to some selective black color. Thanks for pointing that outand i will be able to keep that in mind for next time. The halos were not supposed to be there, just the sharp feathers.
