    My husband built me a phantastic hide and there are the first birds coming now...
    One of my first images from my own hide is this image of the female Chaffinch.
    Most of the time they sit and run down on the ground, not easy to create pleasing images out of a hide. :)

    Great find, light, details and complementing BG. I wish for some eye contact and am not too crazy about the big perch. I would remove the dropping below the bird's left foot.

    Great light, wonderful BG, and about as sharp as it gets! Nicely done!

    Just wish for a bit of a head turn.

    Rosl,

    Nice effort from the new blind. A few things you can do since you can control the setup is use perches that do not overpower the species that are coming. Fill-flash can be a big friend here, filling in the shadows.

    Great BG, don't change that and good luck with the new blind.
