I don't think it is a wild strawberry Denise, but I am not exactly sure what. It is very unusual and pretty whatever it is and I like your framing and square crop.
I wish I knew what it was, too. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it!
I love the overall softness of the image but felt it was a tiny bit hazy so I went into the exposure adjustment control in CS4 and moved the offset slider to about -.30. I think either image works - it's just whether you want an soft or a strong amount of contrast.
Love the comp. Great detail as well on all the little 'hairs' on the strawberries!
Hi Denise,
I like the composition, the depth of field and the selective focus...Julie's repost with the added saturation and contrast is a plus to this already wonderful capture...I personally prefer a shade in between both images...
I especially like the detail of the little "hairs" on this unusual flower. I, too, like Jules' version. I love the colors in the entire image. The very light areas distract me a bit, though.
I pretty much agree with the above, Denise. Very interesting plant. Jules' version does pop a bit more. I kind of wish at least one of the flowers was also in focus.
