Hi Larry, Beautiful blue sky. I would add more sharpening to this image and see what you end up with.
The landing pose and raised wings are very cool. It looks a bit soft on my monitor and I might crop a bit off the top.
nice find and the position is awesome. I agree that the head and wings look soft , the feet are sharp as is the perch maybe maxis's idea of another round of sharpening could help selectively around the eyes is this a big crop also
