    I affectionately nicked named this immature Baldy "Gonzo" because of lack of grace early on in his development. I spent several weeks photographing this bird last fall and this is one images I thought I'd share.

    Great to have such a cooperative subject. I like the eye contact, would sharpen the bird more and wish for a lower angle and that the sun would have been behind you. Could you have backed up a bit? Please post the tech specs of this image and keep them coming!

    By George I did forget the shooting info, guess I'll have to step back on the martinis before I post. I have reposted the image uncropped with moderate sharpening as I tend to go light on the sharpening by habit.

    Details look better in the repost. You could try to get more details in the shadows by using curves and/or S/H and I think there is a slight magenta cast.
