    Hello:

Our favourite, the beautiful little Verdin is back on a homegrown naval orange, most of our birds like oranges, however, that's all the Verdin eats in our yard.

Please excuse me, I didn't switch to my account, now Gus will have to use my account to post today . . . . Sorry about the confusion.

    Nicely done Uncle Gus,
I like the composition, capture and image...you display good color rendition with sharp details and a very good head angle. The half piece of orange makes this for me, very colorful...my only suggestion would be to desaturate the bottom inside of the orange...well composed and executed...good show...

    Hi Gus

You're right, as usual, desaturating bottom of orange does look better.

    Thanks

    Gina,

Lovely image, BG colors are wonderful! Whites of orange look a bit hot?

Hi Gina You guys should experiment with polarizers? Might come up with interesting images !!! Would like seeing the whites a little less reflective. Do love the setting and the little bird looks just fine !!!!

Great picture Gina!, love the compostion and the way it is holding on to the orange. Another bird I have never seen! Love the BG too.

Agree with Al that the whites need to be toned down a bit. The top rim of the orange and the bark of the tree are both a little over exposed. The bird, however, is spot on! Beautiful work, Gina!
