Tony, You have got to be kidding me. This is beyond stunning and as I recall you do this all on your own, no camera traps or triggers. The scream, the wing position, the feet, the ESP and SH, and the BKGR are all too, too good.

Arthur, your memory serves you well, no triggers or IR systems used for this image and the B/G you like is a distant willow tree that's nearly lost alls it's leaves. The light bit's in the B/G are parts of the sky coming through.
Jim.... Lol... Truth is they are the easiest out of all the small birds to photograph, plus, this is taken around seed feeders which they tend to hover around trying to dislodge other birds which makes getting a shot a bit easier..
Axel, my camera isn't too good with noise so I try never to go above ISO250.. I've got a new 1DMK111 coming this week for that reason...
