    except for some ps stuff, this is as it was out of the camera. bg etc are natural. i didn't want to do anything else to it.:o

    Hi Mike,
    A few points to consider...the base image is under exposed and the bird looks a bit on the fuzzy side, a bit soft...your head angle is off and you have three branches going through the bird...I adjusted the mid-tone, lightened the background and opened up the area around the eye and face, selective sharpened and removed the three offending branches or twigs...see if this presents best to you...:cool:

    I like the changes made by Gus !!! I'm not much for cloning but in this case have to agree, does makes for a better looking image and keeps the habitat intact !!!!

    Well guys, you all know i usually defer to you. in this case, i think i like mine better because it is ruggedly natural. Gus, i think your rendition is a bit "brassy" for me. Everyone, please tell my why i amwrong.
