    Last summer, I noticed a family of house wrens around; and one afternoon, this fledgling let me get close enough for some photos. There was a patch of blown-out sky in the ULC that I cloned out.
    Any C&C are welcome!

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f4.5 @ 1/400, ISO 100, -0.3 EV
    Program mode, spot metering, auto WB
    Processed in PS CS2; cropped, curves adjustment, slight saturation increase, reduced BG noise, and sharpened

    Hi Chris - you have good details a nice HA and eye contact - love the BG. For my personal taste he is a little too centred - would recrop trying to move the bird out of the centre of the frame.

    Looking forward to seeing more :)

    Great head angle and eye contact. Nice details and good background.

    Hi Christopher The only thing I can add is try to be precise with the focus placement Looks like the shoulder area is the sharpest !!!! Would also stay away from spot metering unless you got something specific in mind, its a highly accurate metering way but difficult to master !!! .... and slow !!!
