    There is a pond in the a local trailer park where someone told me to look for Hooded Mergansers. They were gone but his very nice Common was there. Hope you enjoy. Steve

    The bird is nice, Steve, but the water is outstanding. So much so that I think it completely overshadows the bird - my eye keeps leaving the bird to look at the water. It will be interesting to hear other's opinions. :)

    Stunning light, water and colors! Nice ambient and comp, great species and very noce detail too. The whites in the wing IMO look a bit hot, but they could probably be toned down. Congratulations!

    I agree. That bird messed up my water photo. ;-)))
