Anolis gundlachi. El Yunque National Forest, Río Grande, Puerto Rico. Canon 30D, Canon 180macro with ext tube and 580X Flash with diffuser. ISO 200, f/11 @ 1/250 sec. There was a lot of black background and some bits of green showing thru so I just cloned the green away and made it an all black background.

Great image, Alfredo! I do find myself wanting to see a bit more of the front of his body but what's there is in focus and spot on! Wow, I wish my eyes were that blue. ;)

Hey Alfredo, I like the spooky look with just the head poking out of the darkness. Nice sharp deails and the eye really pops,

Very dramatic, Alfredo. I like how the lower body fades into the darkness. The eye is nice and sharp, but I would wish for a little more DOF on the nose and throat.

Beautiful eye. I would be tempted to crop tighter and to burn the neck by 1/3 stop.
