Wurdemann's Heron

This was the first time I had seen a Wurdemann's Heron. He was at the Flamingo Marina in the Everglades. He was not shy and allowed me some close up shots.

Nikon D80 with 80-400 VR
1/4000, iso 500, f6.3, 400mm, very little crop

Hi Judy - good looking bird, you have very good details, a good HA and eye contact - lots to like here. Love that blue BG. Feels a tad tight on the RHS .

Exposure and colours look good Judy, I wonder if sharpening the eye and boosting the sat. on it would make it pop more???
