This is a compound image---you may remember the pack rat from the dog photo. I have looked at it too long to be ojective. Does it look natural? Suggestions? I have another version of the same photo.

Kathy, They look great to me! I like the close-up but would like a little more of the head of the hawk in shot. The only thing about the close-up is that the rat looks like he could care less,he doesn't look like he's being attacked-but I love these rat images, they are absolutely adorable!!!

    Hi Kathy,
I like the capture...this does tell the story...I would recommend on adding canvas to the top and on both sides to give him so room...good show...

Hi Kathy, I prefer the first version as it has more of a sense of "impending doom." And it does look natural to me.

the first one looks really natural to me. i'd just add a little canvas to both sides and remove the red dot by its right wing. nice job!!

Hi Kathy - I like the first one - nice job and nice PS skills :)
It looks natural in that I cant see any cloning marks or the like, From a behavioual standpoint I don't know that the rat would allow him this close and still be sitting ther looking at him.

Kathy I like the second. Don't mind tight crops. Think it adds drama to the shot. You just have a bit of a mark under the right wing. I dicovered surface blur does a nice job of smoothing out the BG and then you can erase some detail back in if you want.

Kathy I think they are both super but love the 2nd one! Do think a bit more room for the birds head in that one would be nice. That rat is so flipping cute!

I likie both Kathy. Great shot of the hawk. It looks like both may need a tweak in ps on rhs of either photo. Any number of subtitles could apply to second one. Great stuff and well done. Dave
